Sitecore Sept, 2020 - Dec 2024
During my tenure at Sitecore, I primarily worked on the main sitecore.com site, where I showcased the company's products. My responsibilities included developing and enhancing the search functionality using React, implementing new designs, and collaborating with a back-end developer on an ROI calculator. I frequently used the Sitecore back office to create new items and manage content, including Sitecore forms and special items such as cookie consent. Additionally, I worked on the Sitecore Symposium and other event-related websites annually, handling complete redesigns, module adjustments, and content changes under extremely tight deadlines. This role required a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and effective collaboration with various teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
Halfords Dec, 2019 - July, 2020
I was a part of a newly created team to take over the release and continuous development of new features of the new Salesforce site, which consolidates three previous websites in one. This included finding quick solutions to numerous integration problems with focus on stability and performance as well as quickly getting familiar with the way the codebase works, which was done in handlebars.js. My work there included third party integrations, fixing already existing front end bugs, implementing redesigns of all service emails with cross platform and backward compatibility in mind, helping laying the foundations of agile ways in the team as most members had only knowledge of the waterfall method before, participating in agile ceremonies and helping new members get on board quickly by pair programming and teaching Salesforce development.

Freelancer June, 2016 — Present
I have worked as a freelancer on some project in my spare time. Honorable mentions would be pupibrand.com, artwerklab.com, seapark-homes.com and global.marksandspencer.com. I have worker with different clients from small business owners to big corporate companies, with tailored solutions for the needs of the clients and communicating all the possible outcomes, solutions and decisions that we have to make together. I have worked with different CMS-es like Wordpress and Prestashop, but I have developed websites from scratch as well, again, depending on the needs of the clients and the best possible solution for them. In these processes I have developed my organisation skills when I work alone with no team, and the only dependant for the project is me. Everything is developed with a positive "can-do" attitude because I believe that evertything is possible when it comes to web development. My work sometimes requires to get beyond my area and learn more about marketing on social platforms like Facebook or search engines like Google. SEO is very important when you create online presence for small businesses, so I always make sure I emphasise on that. I have developed my social, business and teaching skills so I get good recommendations and my freelance portfolio continues to grow.
